Dr. Taylor Thurston, MSc, ND, MSCP - is an evidence-based naturopathic doctor with a passion for women’s mental health and hormones. Having personally navigated the challenges of managing a mental health diagnosis, Dr. Taylor is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care where each individual feels heard and supported.
With a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences and a minor in Psychology from Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), Taylor led her team as captain of the NCAA Division I Women’s Ice Hockey Team, instilling in her values of compassion, excellence, integrity, and collaboration—qualities she brings into her practice.
She completed her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2022 and is a proud Menopause Society Certified Practitioner. Her training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) enhances her holistic approach to patient care.
Dr. Taylor is in good standing with the College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC and an active member of the BC Naturopathic Association (BCNA), and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND).
When not in the clinic, you’ll find Dr. Thurston exploring the great outdoors—whether hiking, camping, running, or snowboarding or spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Stephanie Bayliss ND has a clinical focus in women’s health during mid-life, with a main focus on hormonal concerns and mental health.
She is a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP; formerly known as NCMP). She is dedicated to providing empathic medical care that prioritizes each patient feeling genuinely cared for.

-Menopause & Perimenopause related health changes (e.g., hot flashes, night sweats, mood changes, interested in hormone therapy)
-Mental Health concerns (e.g., anxiety, depression, period/menstrual related mood concerns)

-Sexual Health (e.g., low libido, desire, arousal)
-Thyroid Health (e.g., hypothyroidism, Hashimoto’s, Hyperthyroidism, Grave’s)
Stephanie holds additional certification in: acupuncture, and licensure to prescribe pharmaceutical medication. Stephanie maintains up-to-date training in Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
Who I Am
In 2022, Dr. Steph was accredited as a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP). She has expanded her knowledge base in mental health through additional training in Compassionate Inquiry with Dr. Gabor Maté, as well as Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindfulness Based Self Compassion (MBSC) programs. She completed her Naturopathic training at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine and holds a BSc. in Biopsychology from the University of Victoria.
She is a recognized speaker, and has lectured in a variety of capacities to patients and healthcare providers on topics related to women’s mental health. As faculty at the Confident Clinician, she co-leads the mental health fellowship, mentoring fellow naturopathic doctors in integrating current research to clinical practice and elevating the standards of care.
To expand her impact beyond individual patient care, Dr. Steph co-founded “Menoverse,” a platform dedicated to empowering women navigating the complexities of menopause with evidence-based education and support.
Dr. Steph loves living on Vancouver Island with her husband and adorable pup Zoe. When she isn’t working you will find her hiking, swimming, and cycling all around.
